The 2017 generation of the Bentley Continental GT combines refinement and a characteristic shape with modern updates and plenty of carbon accents. The most powerful and performance focused Bentley ever is powered by a 6.0 V12 which delivers 710 hp and 1017 Nm. Doing zero to 100 km/h in only 3.6 seconds in a 2,335 ton car is absolutely ridiculous. You can hit 336 km/h with ease and comfort.
With dark tint front and rear lights, 21-inch black and bright wheels, gloss black tailpipes, a gloss black grille and a titanium exhaust, the sporty mood is real. Just by looking at its air vents and aerodynamic intakes, you know what is going on. MANHART Performance just worked on the design of this rocket cruiser by emphasizing on the curves and edges of the car. The orange has been chose to contrast with the grey. This allows it to stand out.
The grey shade of the bi-tone color of the car has been picked to match the overall aspect of the Supersports. Starting from the front, the trim of the intakes on the hood received orange touches. Same for the grill trim which is now orange. The front bumper gets it orange touch on the bottom and on the side inlets. The five triangles created by the 21-inch twenty spoke forged alloy wheels, which are black and diamond turned, are also colored in orange.
Next are the side arches. The front and rear side arches are marked by the grey accent underlined with the orange line, which accentuate the shape design of the Continental Supersports, inspired from the Continental GT3-R. The little orange MANHART lettering is here to remember where the design comes from without being too intrusive or coherent with the discrete character of the car. Finally, the back bumper gets the same treatment as the front one, using the orange line on the edge. An orange touch adorns the little trunk lip, which makes it stand out a bit more.
All these design modifications need to fit to the car. MANHART Performance applied a paint protection film to ensure the nice keeping of the paint job. This design project challenged us to make a good car better even better, something we are dedicated to.
