MANHART AMG GT R

The AMG GT R is the essence of knowledge and innovation from Mercedes-AMG. It’s GT design reworked with new aggressive bumpers and the inauguration of the new Panamericana grille, which is featured on all the new AMGs. 585 HP and 700 Nm from the 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo are pushing the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.

MANHART Performance followed its casual challenge: Making an already good car even better. Well, the AMG GT R is already a good car through its mechanical attributes, so we only had to rework the design. Many incredible specs are possible, but there is one which stands out by its exclusivity: The Edition 1. Starting from this point, we wanted to push this idea of exclusivity a little more.

First, the main stripe that crosses the car is similar to the Edition 1. Additionally, we accentuated the lines by adding few yellow touches like on the rear bumper curves, the rear spoiler, wheels, mirror caps and the front bumper. The side stripe has been reworked to become a true MANHART part. The Panamericana grille is completely blacked out and the big Mercedes star is slightly tinted to enhance a stealthy look. Finally to complete the package, the MANHART lettering on the windshield adds a proper race feeling.

This little design project challenged us to make a good car even better, something to which we are dedicated to.
