MANHART MH2 450

MH2 450 - at first glance, our fans might be taken aback by this model designation. After all, the designation “MH2” initially seems to indicate an optimized version of the BMW M2. But then “only” 450 hp? That would be less than the standard version! The solution to this puzzle is that the basis in this case is not actually the top model of the compact BMW coupé. Instead, the MH2 450 is based on its smaller brother, the M240i. In addition to the increase in performance, the latter naturally received various other technical and visual refinements on its way to becoming the MH2 450.

As is well known, the M240i is powered by the three-litre B58 twin-power turbo in-line six-cylinder engine. Thanks to turbocharging, it delivers 374 hp and 500 Nm ex works. For the MH2 450, our team at MANHART Performance pushes the power unit to 440 hp and 600 Nm of maximum torque with the help of the in-house developed MHtronik powerbox. A GRAIL rear silencer including valve control and four 100 millimetre MANHART tailpipes provide the appropriate acoustic background. For those who are not satisfied with the performance offered here, we also offer further Stage 2 and Stage 3 upgrades on request. In this case, the brake system remains unchanged, but individual upgrades are possible on request. With regard to the suspension, our MANHART lowering springs by H&R or a MANHART Variant 4 coilover suspension by KW are available to give the MH2 450 even sportier handling and lowering at the same time.

The keyword lowering also leads directly to the visual refinement of the coupé. The lowering of the body allows our installed MANHART Concave One rims to sit perfectly under the fenders. They measure 9x20 inches at the front and 10.5x20 inches at the rear and have an unusual finish in glossy white. This already shows that we allow the customer to configure the rim colour individually on request. The tires measure 245/30ZR20 at the front and 285/25ZR20 at the rear. Our team at MANHART refined the body of the MH2 450 with a front spoiler, side sill attachments, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler - all made of carbon. A MANHART trim set rounds off the exterior.

Last but not least, the interior features a steering wheel with a new leather/Alcantara cover, including black lacquered spokes and MANHART carbon shift paddles.
