MANHART MH5 800E (G9x)
Not much time has passed since the premiere of the brand-new BMW M5, now in its seventh generation. The G90 saloon only made its debut at the end of June, followed by the M5 Touring (G99), available for the first time in around 14 years, in mid-August. As is almost obligatory with new BMW models, the new top model also offers plenty to discuss. After all, it now comes with a high-power plug-in hybrid consisting of the familiar 4.4-litre V8 and an electric motor. Although this makes the newcomer more powerful than its predecessor, it also increases the weight - to around 2.5 tons.
Nevertheless, the G90 and G99 are of course impressive, desirable and extremely fast vehicles, and we won’t miss the opportunity to customize and optimize them. We have not wasted a second. Just a few weeks after the model presentations, we are now offering a preview of the upcoming: MANHART MH5 800E. As you know, the number in the new designation gives an indication of the approximate power output of the car: we will accordingly increase the output of the overall system from the factory 727 hp to around 800 hp by revising the V8 unit.
Further technical upgrades such as new suspension solutions to refine the agility and lowering of the M5 are of course also being planned. The latter will undoubtedly also enable first-class alignment of the new wheels under the fenders. We have once again opted for our own Concave One rims. In the preview images, they have the classic silk-matt black finish with a gold trim strip on the rim edge. The bodywork with its MANHART decal set is also presented in this MANHART-typical color scheme. To make the already beefy styling of the M5 even more martial and unique, an entire body kit with front spoiler lip, side skirts, diffuser and a rear spoiler is also under development. A carbon hood is to be added later to round off the package.
