MANHART MHX3 650 (F97)
510 hp, 650 Nm, 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, adaptive M suspension, M xDrive all wheel drive system and M Compound brake system: the BMW X3 M Competition is to a certain extent an M3 twin in an SUV outfit and therefore impresses with exceptional driving dynamics for this vehicle class. However, we at MANHART Performance from Wuppertal saw the X3 M Competition as nothing more than a “worthy basis” for our interpretation of the power SUV and have now upgraded a model maintained LCI version of the F97 to the MHX3 650.
In order to be allowed to bear this type designation, an adequate power increase was of course mandatory, as the 650 clearly anticipates the new power level of our MANHART SUV in the style of the house: the twin charged 3.0 liter in line six cylinder engine pushes no less than 650 hp and a maximum torque of 800 Nm into the drivetrain after the installation of a MANHART MHtronik auxiliary control unit. The exhaust flow and sound of the MHX3 650 is perfected by our MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, which is connected to MANHART sports downpipes with 200 cell HJS catalytic converters and ends in four 100 millimeter diameter carbon coated tailpipes. Alternatively, a variant with ceramic coated tailpipes is also available.
Visually, the MHX3 650 presents itself with a MANHART carbon aerodynamic kit that is as tasteful as it is sporty. The front spoiler and side skirts, each with side fins, as well as the roof spoiler and rear diffuser shimmer in the typical carbon fibre fabric. Of course, the typical MANHART trim kit fits neatly into this appearance. Here, however, it is not in gold as is often the case, but in satin silver on a dark blue background.
The MANHART Multispoke alloy wheels of the MHX3 650 shown here also have silver accents in the form of polished outer rings but the finish of the 9.0×22 and 10.5×22 inch Multispoke wheels can also be individually configured according to customer requirements. The Multispoke single piece wheels are fitted with 255/35ZR22 and 295/30ZR22 tires. The large calipers of the factory fitted M Compound brake system shine in bright red behind the wheels; however, various upgrade systems can also be used here as an option. MANHART lowering springs by H&R ensure that the car is lowered by around 30 millimeters, resulting in significantly optimized cornering dynamics.
Carbon fibre parts can also be found in the cockpit of the MHX3 650: In addition to the carbon steering wheel spokes from the BMW M Performance range, large MANHART carbon shift paddles have been installed. In addition, our MANHART upholsterers offer individual interior refinements that leave nothing to be desired.
