MANHART MHXM 900

It is one of the most colossal, impressive and powerful models in the BMW range: the XM. The top version “Label Red” comes ex works with 748 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. It owes this power to its plug-in hybrid drive, which combines a 585 hp 4.4-litre biturbo V8 (S68) with a 197 hp electric motor. Nevertheless, we at MANHART Performance easily managed to identify and exploit the untapped potential in terms of performance. Our team in Wuppertal also made extensive improvements to the appearance, giving the SUV an even beefier and more unique look. The result is the MANHART MHXM 900.

Of course, the number 900 once again stands for the power of the drive: the MHXM 900 delivers 900 hp and 1,200 Nm! This was achieved by means of our in-house MHtronik powerbox. An Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system was also fitted on board. This is available with or without a wireless kit, whereby the latter variant does not have TÜV approval and is therefore only intended for export. The same applies to the MANHART Race downpipes without catalytic converters and the MANHART OPF Delete replacement pipes with 300 cell HJS catalytic converters. As an alternative to the Akrapovic system, a MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with valve control is also available. Individual upgrades to the XM brake systems are also available on request.

On the chassis side, the MHXM 900 is characterized by reduced ground clearance. This was achieved with the help of MANHART lowering springs by H&R. The lowering also ensures that the new wheels are perfectly positioned under the mudguards: As with MANHART, the popular reooccurring favourite in the form of the Concave One was chosen here. The rims, which are characterized by six double spokes, have a glossy black finish and XXL dimensions of 10x24 inches at the front and even 12x24 inches at the rear axle. Alternatively, individually configurable colours are also possible. The mounted tires measure 295/30ZR24 and 355/25ZR24.

The extravagant, extroverted look of the XM Label Red, already ex works, has been significantly sharpened by our team at MANHART with a carbon body kit. The front gets a spoiler lip, air ducts and add-ons for the apron as well as a radiator grille frame and a new hood. The side view is refined with sills. Last but not least, two spoilers - one on the edge of the roof and one below the rear window - as well as a diffuser, a trunk lid add-on between the rear lights and side slats on the apron ensure an even more impressive finish. For a matching, spectacular finish, MANHART gave the MHXM 900 a full wrap in matt grey.

We also equipped the MHXM 900 with a carbon interior set to match the body kit. It complements the interior with trim for the doors, the dashboard, the centre console and a steering wheel spoke.
