MANHART TR 950

In terms of driving dynamics, the GT3 RS is undoubtedly the highest of all feelings in the current 992 generation 911. If you want maximum performance, you have to go for the Turbo S. However, Porsche has already shown in previous model generations that it is possible to be even more extreme and fascinating. In the predecessor 991, the GT2 RS was the all-conquering top model. Thanks to biturbo charging, its 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine delivers 700 hp and 750 Nm even in its standard state. However, this impressive output does not stop the Wuppertal-based and globally active specialists at MANHART Performance from giving the sports car even more power. The result is the new MANHART TR 950, which finally plays in the league of absolute super sports cars.

To be more precise, a GT2 RS with two exquisite and high-priced optional extras in the form of the Weissach and Clubsport packages served as the basis for this fascinating and exclusive exception. As the new name of the vehicle already suggests, the performance of the turbo six-cylinder engine has been significantly increased once again: up to 966 hp and 1,090 Nm of maximum torque are now on the data sheet! MANHART made this possible by combining an ECU remapping including mapswitch with a turbo performance kit.

This consists of larger TTH turbochargers, MANHART charge air and engine cooler upgrades by CSF and an aluminum MANHART IPD manifold. In addition, there is a MANHART water intercooler by MANTHEY including a larger tank. On the exhaust side, MANHART Downpipes Sport with 200-cell HJS catalytic converters were also installed. However, the latter do not have TÜV approval and are therefore only intended for export. In line with the engine optimization, the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (PDK) also received an upgrade with adapted software and a reinforced MANHART clutch by Dodson.

For further optimized driving dynamics, MANHART installed a MANTHEY-KW coilover suspension, while the carbon-ceramic brake system, already first-class ex works, remained unchanged. However, individual modifications are also possible here on request. MANHART Forged Line wheels in the dimensions 9.5x21 and 12x22 inches provide the road contact. The corresponding Continental SportContact 7 tires therefore measure 255/30ZR21 and 335/25ZR22. As an alternative to the classic gloss black finish chosen here, MANHART also offers individual color customization on request.

With regard to the bodywork, the 911 GT2 RS has been fitted with a whole range of MANHART add-on parts by DB Carbon made from high-quality carbon fiber composite material, which guarantee an even more exclusive and dynamic appearance: Installed are a front spoiler including side extensions, aero flics for increased downforce, frames for the air intakes in the front, side skirts, inserts for the air intakes in front of the rear axle and a diffuser including side extension plates. And last but not least, of course, the characteristic MANHART decorative set is not missing: the decorative stripes and lettering are applied in gray to the bodywork with matt silver paint protection. As a subtle individualization of the interior, the red of the interior trim was changed to black and MANHART floor mats were inserted.
